Ex-Planes - Numbers 0-10

These fantasy planes are numbered from 0 to 10 on the left hand side of their wing. On the right wing is a blank circle. Printed on sturdy card and laminated to protect and preserve them. Boys especially love to count with planes!

Which number will be needed to make 10, 20, 30 or indeed any number e.g. 17.

Make a number line using the planes to teach the  order of number. Some of the planes are removed, which ones have flown away to teach missing numbers?

Choose three planes and make six new numbers with the digits so showing place value.
E.g. 6,3,1 can make 136, 163, 316, 361, 613 and 631.

Put them in  ordinal number from 1st to 10th.

Add, subtract or multiply for fast mental maths sessions.
